Manga by creator Sora Inoue, Reiji SaigaDaimon high school is your average school, except for one thing, they incourage fighting in the form of K-fights. K-fights are allowed battles between clubs and enemies and various other things. Ryoko Mitsurugi is a normal 16 year old high schooler who has a crush and loves acting, and Samurai movies. Oh yeah, she's also the number one ranked fighter in the K-fights at Daimon. Well thats until Shizuma Kusanagi comes along, or as Ryoko likes to call him the "Stupid Red Monkey"
Pro's: I love the character designs, and my favorite character has to be Shizuma Kusanagi. He walks from being good to bad like it's just across the street.
Con's: Sometimes the dialogue gets a little confusing, sometimes words look like they're in the wrong spaces.
Is It Worth Buying? Recently picked up by Tokyopop for its %100 manga collection, RBHS is one of the most interesting series to be brought oversea's in a while. Even though the character designs look Shonen and it bases around fighting, the story can go for anyone. It's got drama, action, comedy and romance. I'll be following this one for a while.
Final Score 8.5/10, I really like this series, it great and probably one of the one of the more interesting manga's from tokyopop. At 9 bucks, pick it up and while you're at it, get volume 2.
