The new Astro Boy series will debut on Cartoon Network's Toonami block on Monday, March 8, at 5:00 pm, replacing SD Gundam. In April, Astro Boy will return to Kids WB after being on hiatus since February.

"Astro Boy has a rich story and great action which we think Toonami viewers will enjoy," said Jim Samples, executive vice president and general manager of Cartoon Network Worldwide. "Astro Boy is one of the most influential franchises in animation, so bringing it to Toonami will give fans the chance to see one of the classic animé heroes in action."
