Animation World Magazine reports 4Kids Entertainment has claimed the rights to the Tokyo Mew Mew anime series, and plans to add it to the Fox Box Saturday morning lineup later this year. 4Kids also plans to rename the series Hollywood Mew Mew for its U.S. debut.
The series' premise follows Ichigo Momomiya, an ordinary 11-year old girl who, after a freak-accident at a museum leaves her with the DNA of wildcats, is asked to join a secret organization.
