The official Matrix website has finally posted the AniMatrix teaser trailer. This first preview trailer is roughly 30 seconds. It is designed to let those unfamiliar with The Animatrix learn more of the project's existence, and to find out that all nine episodes will be released on DVD and video.
Matrix creators Andy and Larry Wachowski wrote half of the 10 AniMatrix shorts, with Japanese anime masters including Yoshiaki Jawajiri (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust) and Mahiro Maeda (Blue Submarine NO. 6) whose short will be animated by the same house that did Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
